Slick debut of synth-iced HipHip electronica from Utrecht-based Krsur, featuring remixes by Naive Machine and Niño. For our $, this is the best release on MYOR records to date, combining the best bits of synth-driven Skweee funk and Beat Dimensions bounce in lazer-cut form. The synaesthetic quality of the title sweetly reflects his sound, from the Physical Therapy-esque future G-synths of ‘Crystal’ to the exquisite, Jheri-curled ’80s funk of ‘You’re So Glow’, but he’s matched toe-for-toe ont he remixes, with a cyber-spacious bump ‘n grine remix of ‘Starlights’ by Naive Machine, and the epic, Carpenter-esque synths twinkle and walloping drums of Niño’s ‘You’re So Glow’ version. A healthy recommendation for fans of Slugabed, 1000 Names, Dilla, and the most indecent Skweee.
